Got this in my inbox:
No sim-tray cutout, old headphone jack cutout, no mention of the "other" logo...
I'm not doing business with these morons. Anyone wants my coupon code, PM me. First come first served.
And if you also read that thread, he made some notes on version 2 of the case having less of an issue. In fact, if you read a page back in THIS thread, we got confirmation from him today that he is not having an issue with GPS so far on version 2.![]()
That was his last post in that thread and was after he received V2.... and he hasn't posted in this thread at all.
Sure you aren't thinking of someone else?
Not only that, but I really want to see what he says on reception.
He replied to me on his youtube video just now. He says version 2 does not seem to be worse than without the case on and that he's still testing it. You can see the reply in the link asleep posted in the quote above.
I'm satisfied with that.
Hey you got a reply. Good news
Still testing it. So far it seems to be okay. No worse than without the case on.

Not sure if that will work. The email says the email placing the order has to match the one with the coupon code.
Has anyone actually received a tracking number and not had their package shipped? My tracking number came on the 4th, but still says "The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper to expect your package for mailing", which means it hasn't been delivered to the USPS. I've even called the Postal Service to confirm. It's not in their system anywhere. And I've had good experience with USPS tracking numbers lately, even having them updated at least one or twice a day. Is this similar to that crap that IvySkin pulled on their cases? Where they generate the tracking numbers so their customers will shut up, but don't actually ship the product for some time?
Hi guys.
I just got my ElementCase Email with the Preorder key in it.
I only have a little second thought of buying the Case.
I am now using a iPhone4 with a Apple bumper. Thats works for me and fixes the DeathGrip for me. Only i Do not like two things about a apple bumper. At first the rubber finish on that Bumper (hard to take out of my pants while driving etc). And second the way it fits on my iPhone. The Original bumper fits well only sometimes it just a little Wobbely. The iPhone does not feel Sollid with a apple Bumper on it.
How are you guys experiencing that with the Vapor Case? I really hate it when my sollig iPhone feels like a plastic Samsung that cracks in my hands (like it does with a AppleBumper)
^Well I was going by his posts on this board, not his youtube account...I just searched his posts and saw he hadn't posted in this thread.
Try boiling the Bumper case in hot water for a minute or two, it should shrink it some for a more snug fit.
No problem. Just being a pal and letting you know!

Lots of people have done it. Apparently it works.
Update:
Reception - not seeing any issues.
GPS - Saw some at first, when I removed case issues went away. But further testing and similar issues appeared with no case too.
I also do have a set of the Lucky Labs (side pieces) on my device and they may serve as bumper between the case the the device, which may help with holding reception.
I'm going away Friday for five days and am planning on using the Vapor as my only case so it'll be a good final test.
Is the inside of the Case also Aluminium or is there a protection film in the vapor case?
ya ive read through the vapor thread, and it doesnt seem like many people are commenting on the gap. im wondering things like : will the dust which gets in there scratch the antenna? how often will i need to clean ect.
The Vapor has four foam like inserts, one at each corner which keep the case off the metal antenna of the iPhone.
