They’re paying for the servers and employees and everything else that we’re using so I have no problem with it. If users want to make money on Amazon affiliate links they can start their own blog and help people there.It means that if someone here shares a helpful answer and links to an Amazon product to fix a problem someone else has, MR gets the money rather than the helpful person. Kinda messed up to take that away from them.
I do wonder if it can be circumvented by routing Amazon links through our own site. For instance, I could route a URL to aduke.co/a/idnumber and then my site would take that url and parse it into an Amazon link and redirect from there.
