I have the original Elevation Dock, with a lightning adaptor and nanopad bought separately for it, it sits on my bedside table and I have never been so drunk, without glasses or tired that I couldn’t dock my phone with ease.

I also backed the Elevation Stand on Kickstarter, when it finally arrived I was chuffed to bits with it and now use it regularly.

I’m considering upgrading to the 6S+ so I’ll probably end up buying this dock when that phone is announced, try and sync up the arrival times as best I can.

Just wish they’d make an iPad dock, their stuff is beautiful and works so nicely with my desk setup…
I am not saying I can't dock my phone with ease, I just think a LED near the back bumper or one from the bottom would be a nice touch for when docking while laying down in bed in the dark. It would be a nice little added benefit. I have two Elevation Docks since backing them on Kickstarter a few years back and I think it is an excellent made product. It is not flimsy and I think is well worth the money. I use mine daily. The only other dock that I think could compete is the one put out by Hevo Labs (see link below). It incorporates a MagSafe type adapter to use with their dock. Ultimately, I think it would be great if Apple could incorporate MagSafe power/data for their iPhones.

Why not cut the sides open and let me use an iPad on it if I must?

**Length of Cable is Standard 3 feet**

Just a FYI, I asked Elevation Dock via FaceBook about the length of their built in cable and was told that it was the standard 1m (3 feet) cable. This is a major downfall if you cannot change out the cable (which I assume you can't). I currently own two Elevation docks which you have to retrofit with your own Lightning Cable and I had to use the 2m on both of them in order to work on my nightstand and desk. A majority of the time 3 feet isn't long enough for the average desk at 28-30 inches. An electrical outlet would have to be very close by. The 2m length at least give you some additional length.

WOW! I got it, I've been using it and I love it! This is even better than the first version.

You can change it out- you can use whatever cable you want. For me the distance is not a problem, but I have a six foot cable I could use if I wanted. Actually, I might do that...

If anyone still has their dock and is looking for an adaptor to use an Apple braided USB-C cable with a newer iPhone, like an iPhone 15 Pro Max, (instead of a Lighting cable) I created an adapter you can 3D print (free). Enjoy!
