Hi,

I was wondering if there's any TV tuner device available for Mac, which has similar feature as Slingbox. Slingbox basically allows you to watch channels from other PCs by connecting to the device over the Internet. I don't see why products like EyeTV don't implement such software for their hardware.. any thoughts?

The Mac equivalent of Slingbox is...Slingbox. They're still working on it. 🙁

If you pick one up and read the back of the box they mention they're working on Mac support. Sadly, I think it'll fall to the wayside just like TiVo did.

I recall hearing that about Google Earth somewhere....

Hey, it can't hurt to be optimistic!🙂

The Slingbox does it for Mac. I'll buy it over an Elgato. That or if Apple beats them with an Airport AV.
