Does the EyeTV 250 Plus need to be connected to an antennae, cable, or satellite in order to pick up a television signal or does it have a built in antennae? Does it have to have some kind of video input?

If I got the EyeTV 250 Plus could I survive without the Turbo.264?

Could you elaborate on how you are interested in hooking it up? I have the 250 Plus and it does have an adapter that you can hook it to via s-video then but if you could explain how you want to do it I may be able to help.
