Anyone know if iMovie 08 works with elgato's turbo h.264?
More specifically, I have a SR MacBook, and my only complaint is speed of encoding in iMovie08. I really only do short videos of 2-10 minutes. I honestly don't want to pony up for an MBP, so I am wondering if turbo might be the answer.
One other thought -- does anyone know if iMovie08 ONLY works with QT? Can I make it use handbrake or other, faster encoders for my movie encoding?
