So, last night I got transparent windows using MacForge. Today, I was looking at some other bundles and there was one called noShadows. Promised to eliminate shadows from windows using system drawn shadows. So, I tried it. And it worked.

I've long lamented the demise of ShadowKiller for Intel Macs, but this is working. If you're interested, you need to install MacForge: https://www.macenhance.com/macforge.html

Oh, and yet again, you need SIP disabled. If that isn't your thing then this will not work.

PS. I tried this stuff a year or so ago and none of it worked. I must have been using an old SIMBL plugin and not MacForge.

Does ShadowKiller not work on it? I don’t know if it ever made it to universal binary status. I always loved it on PPC Macs.

It will open, it will execute and it will close - exactly as it normally does. But it will not remove shadows.

My work MBP is on High Sierra. It does not work on that system either.
