Those are all dudes. Ellen is a dudette.

So put a wig on one of them:rolleyes:

I know there are some funny female comedians I just can not think of any of there names. There are plenty of funny women from sitcoms but I do not know how funny they actually are as comedians when writers are not feeding them lines. Though I haven't watched a sitcom since the 90's.

Although Ellen isn't in the music business at all, I thought the judges just gave their opinions and that ultimately the fans decide who stays and who goes by texting into the show (I've never really watched a whole episode, so I don't know)? The judges have far more say as to who actually makes it onto the show, but it sounds like Ellen will join after that part has already been decided.

I liked Ellen in Finding Nemo. Mostly I find her irritating, but I can see why they'd pick her. She's outgoing and people like her, and she's a natural crowd handler.

They should have picked Sarah Palin. :D

Kinda a shame since it was somewhat fun seeing Paula's odd antics at times. :D

Still, Ellen knows how to hold her own on the spot given her comedian and hosting background. So I think she'll do well. An article suggested Ellen's problem may not be being funny but rather, knowing when to hold the humor or risk sidetracking the direction of the program at that moment. Well, guess we'll see...
