Well…
Musk has reportedly discussed Tesla building the phone and satellite connectivity being provided by Starlink.
… that’s literally been the answer all along, for everyone who complains about Apple. Why be such a baby about how Apple’s business interests don’t align with one’s own… ?
Heck, he doesn’t even need to do the OS, just use Android without Play and you can do anything you want and leave Apple users to their preferred, managed platform.

here we go again with the self important Musk thinking he is all that. I would never buy anything from a company that he is involved in. I am happy Apple did not get in bed with him, keep the poison out. #ElonMuskLooser #ElonMuskTrader #boycottelonmusk

serious question, did this man ever grow out of having a middle schooler’s brain?
And we all know high school is an extremely valuable experience, with teenagers making prudent decisions…
Why stop at middle school?

He proposed that SpaceX would exclusively provide satellite connectivity to iPhones for 18 months, for an upfront cost of $5 billion. After that, Apple would pay SpaceX $1 billion per year for Starlink service.

HAHAHAHAHA 😂 imagine trying to extort Apple for even $0.01, let alone $5 billion. And over a feature that provides marginal utility, at best. Tim Cook would kill his own mother to save Apple $5 billion.

And T-Mobile thinks people are gonna pay for T-Satellite?
If I had the right use cases, such as hiking, boating, or regularly driving in a complete dead zone like northern Vermont, I could see paying $5 a month for it. Seems like pretty decent insurance for an emergency.

The silver lining of it all is that with X and all of his DOGE stuff, Musk has shown who he really is, which is why Tesla is tanking around the world (and hopefully all of his other endeavors fail as well). Apple pays a lot of attention to public opinion, and it would be detrimental for them to be associated with such a twisted, childish, hateful person.
