Emac 1.25Ghz will not sleep

Any ideas when I hit the sleep option in the pull down menu the machine powers down like its about to sleep then just recycles right back on. Also will not sleep on its own.

Unpluged everything but the keyboard and mouse no bluetooth module installed no apps running 😕

Shut your eMac down and leave it unplugged from the power for a night or so. See if that helps things. 🙂

I had a similar issue with my eMac last year. Here is a link to Apple's docs that explains the sleep process and a link to my own discussion on the Apple Support Forum that helped resolve my problem. Hopefully something here will spark the solution to your problem.
