eMac not sleeping HELP!!!

When you say you have done everything, what does this involve? (PRAM? OS?). Also, does the clock still work or need to be reset often?
 
Why don't just put it to sleep when you are not using it instead of on schedule? Click the :apple: on the top left hand corner and click sleep?
