eMac screen buzzing!

This is driving me nuts. About two weeks ago, I first noticed this high pitched buzzing coming from my eMac's screen. Is there any way to get rid of it, or anything I could try? It does not buzz all the time, but most of the time it is buzzing away 😡

Is it in the monitor or coming from the computer portion of the system?

Try changing resolutions once, and report back of it gets better or worse.

hmmm, I believe it is coming from the monitor, and not the computer. I will change my resolutions, but right now is an odd time when it is not buzzing. I'll report back as soon as I hear it again (prob in a few min)

It MIGHT be the monitor, but it could also be the fan in the rear. Try allowing the display to sleep in 1 minute, but leave the computer running, and see if the noise happens with the monitor off.

If it does, try changing the refresh rate, that might help. Other than that, there isn't really too much you can do about it.
