I look after about 50 student computers (30 iMac G5's and 20 IBM PC's) that have LCD screens in a high school and have had no problems from students with them what so ever. The "oh CRT is way better for education" is not as much of a point as you would think.

High school, sure. Put a bunch of LCDs in front of 8-year olds with peanut butter and jelly on their fingers, etc. and then we'll see if you don't have any issues. 😛 😉

They didn't give me peanut butter in elementary school.

Bastards.

You must have been a bad boy then - or your mommy didn't like you enough to make you yummy sandwiches for lunch. 😛 😉 😀

Why do they make 8 year-olds sit by the computer? We had our information technology lessons when we were 12 or 13, do remember already 😉

Picked up one of the last Emac's recently (with the Radeon 9600 64mb graphics) and it is a very fast reliable machine. Upped the Ram to 1gig and it is more than capable. Does the job well.
