emacs on mac

Can someone explain to me what emac is and why is it built into mac os x?

It has games and etc, what for?

And are these games installed when mac are built?

emacs is not built in OSx. There are a number of implementations available though.
I used emacs a lot when I was working in *NIX.

Yes it is built in, check your /usr/bin folder.

It is just a text editor, and it is built into just about every unix system, which Mac OSX is built upon. Same thing with VI.
