eMail Backup: How ?

Hi

what’s the easiest way to put eMails
from the Mac default mail app onto a usb stick for backup ?

Don’t want to use iCloud, etc.

For each mailbox use Mailbox > Export Mailbox...

Don't you back up the entire Mac right now?
If so, the emails should be backed up as well.

Best way is to create a cloned backup with CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper.
