I have a macbook and i used to be able to read a email message that I highlighted and was able to read the message, without having to double click on it.

I did something on the settings by mistake, and now i have to double click to read a message.

Does anybody know how i can get it back to normal?

Thanks in advance.

The area that allows you to view a message is resizeable. When you click on a message once, at the bottom of that area of the window (window border at bottom) can be dragged up to regain the viewing area. Just hover your mouse at that bottom and you'll notice it change, just click and hold and drag it upwards to get back to normal.
