Email info not transferring when I set up new iPhone X using my old iPhone 6

Like it says in the title: when I set up my new phone using my old phone as a source, none of the e-mail settings (accounts, passwords, servers...) transfer. Is that normal or should I put some effort into figuring out what's going on? I have music on my old phone that originated in a bunch of different iTunes accounts (all my own or family members'), which also seems to be confusing the new phone, since it keeps asking for the passwords to those accounts. Maybe I'll remove all the music from my old phone, back it up one last time, and try again? And before anyone asks, finding and typing all the email info would be more work than one more try at set-up. Thanks for any thoughts you might have.
