ok, i am trying to set up my iphone 5 and i am coming across the following problem:

I have my work email sent to push via exchange.
I have my gmail set up to push via exchange.

I have my the Mail app sent to show an alert on my lock screen when i receive an email.

Emails sent to work are pushed and show up on my lock screen.
Emails sent to my gmail are pushed but do NOT show up on my lock screen.

I don't see any options to set those separately. It seems that if one shows up, then both should show up.

It took quite a bit to get them to be pushed from gmail. I first set it up as a Gmail email account and that didn't work, and then as an exchange account, which also didn't work. I deleted it and set it up again (exactly the same to my knowledge) and now it pushes.

I got it working, you have to go to Notifications in settings and adjust your settings for mail. You have change the settings for it showing up in notification center and on the lock screen.

wow, i can't believe i missed this. To clarify in case anyone else cares:

in Notifications --> Mail you can change the settings for each email service that you have separately.

Thanks!
