Hi,

In our office, we have 5 macs. one of which we use entourage for email.
Is there a way to have all the computers be able to access the email? We only want one account that remains in sync on all machines.

Is this possible?

Thanks alot!
Ari

There are a few different ways to do what you're asking, but they're dependant on how you currently get your email. Do you have POP3, IMAP, Exchange or some other sort of email? Does your email provider allow forwarding? Do the other five Macs have their own email accounts currently set up? :)

Hi,

We are using Entourage.
It is a pop3 email account.
I'm pretty sure forwarding is allowed
The other macs have NO email set up.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Ari

Can you get IMAP access? That would makes things much easier.

With POP3, you can opt to leave messages on the server for a period of time. If you do this, you can have each machine access + download your emails each day but the accounts will strictly speaking, still not be synchronised. All that is happening is that new mail is being downloading into each Inbox.
