Email problems on ipad4

    Is anyone having problems with the ios email app. It seems to be stuck on 'checking for mail' but does nothing further. Any thoughts or suggestions? I just updated to 6.1.3 or whatever the latest is but that was a few days ago and had been working ok.

    Have you tried restarting mail (close it via the red X first) and if that didn't work rebooting the ipad?

    Yeah tried both but I luck. Also tried deleting accounts and restarting. No luck :-(

    Check your wifi or 3G/4G connection. The spinning circle usually indicated the inability to connect to the carrier server.

    Fixed it but not without resetting the whole iPad. Not happy as it reset EVERYTHING. At least it is working now. Thanks for advice all.
