Anyone here experiencing any offline problems mail app?
Yeah, there has been a bit of a problem with gmail in particular and the newest update. Everyone had to authenticate in safari which opens a dialogue box and then allows you to authenticate. Unfortunately, that hasn’t worked for a lot of people. A couple of my gmail accounts randomly go offline, but I can always get them back on. Several people aren’t so lucky.
Unfortunately, we are just waiting for the bug fix here so your options are use another method for checking email until it is fixed or roll back to the previous version of Mojave.
One of mine works just fine. The other 2 randomly go offline and choosing the option to take them online doesn't work. I have to close mail and restart it, where they then work for a while until they don't again

My Gmail account asked for verification. When I give my google password a box opens thats states the MAC OS wants to Delete all my G MAIL emails, access the account, erase all contacts, etc.
I tried shutting off and rebooting. No joy. This pro is maybe 7 months old, has been trouble free until now.
I am NOT a computer guy....so be gentle.
I have not accepted the terms as I don't want all my G Mail info deleted.
It doesn't say it will delete it all, it says it CAN delete it all along with all kinds of crazy other stuff. Nothing will happen to your accounts or information.
Everything you are agreeing to is already in place and has been since you signed up for gmail, they are just being forced to disclose it more openly than usual with all the new privacy rules in several places. It is an unfortunate reality of using online mail servers at this time. They pretty much have access to everything you say or do on them.
