My iphone 6 with ios 10.1 beta 1 has low power mode on right now as its charging, got an email push a few mins ago & just now got another email from my carrier saying my reserved iphone 7+ just shipped finally. i know in ios 9 low power mode disabled email push by design which i hated, anyone else can confirm they now get push emails with low power mode on too or im i seeing some rare "bug"? it be great if this was an intentional change. im using the default apple email app.

Interesting. This would be a nice feature to incorporate. Although, that would also defeat the purpose of low power mode, being E-mail push features would still contribute to battery drainage from checking.

Perhaps the fact that it's plugged in and charging might have something to do with it?
