    Hi All, New to the forum and new to Mac and need some help to set up my email.

    I share a domain with my husband and we both have email addresses chris @*****.co.uk and John@*****.co.uk my husband and I bothe previously had PC's and used Outlook express for email which my husband still uses.

    We were previously able to both set rules within Outlook Express to leave each others mail on the isp server only taking our own which worked well. For examply I set a rule which said if the email address includes john@*****.co.uk do not download it but leave it on the server.

    I cannot find how to do this on my brand new IMac and therefore get both my and my husbands mail everytime I download mail.

    I cant believe I cant do this on my Mac can anyone help me as my husband is becoming anti mac!!!

    Preferences -> Rules

    You can set up something like

    If message is to john@whatever

    copy message to [specify local mailbox]

    Or you could just use IMAP...
