Email won't send

On my iPhone 4, iOS 4.1, when I try to send an email from any app besides the mail app (photos, safari, etc.), It puts the conversation in the outbox, but doesn't actually send it. I can then go into the outbox and hit send and it goes just fine.

Has anyone seen this? I think it started on my 3G but I can't say for sure.

Noticed the same.
Not a huge deal now that I am aware of it, but it would be good to resolve it.

Looks like it has been fixed in 4.2.

super crappy bug... i've hit it many times. one solution i've found is to enable airplane mode which will halt it from trying to send, then reanble the phone. don't reboot, or you risk losing it
