Emailing Pages Files

Anyone know of a way to format something in pages and send it as an email without making the .pages file an attachment?

The idea is to avoid atachments entirely (unless if that is needed for photos that maybe used in the background).

As far as I know, whenever you send an email, if there's any kind of file going along for the ride, it's going to be an attachment.

Oh, just thought of this... you could send a link and host the file on a website.
