Emails at mac.com websites

I don't recall seeing this issue addressed. If it has been, please excuse the interruption and point me to the thread.

We have a website hosted on mac.com, mysite.org, for example. In addition to me.com emails (mysite@me.com), we also have email accounts on the website, john@mysite.org, for example.

I know that the mac.com websites need to be rehosted elsewhere, which we are ready to do, and that the mysite@me.com can transfer to iCloud, but what about the John@mysite.org email accounts? Can the John@mysite.org be transferred to iCloud? Can it be transferred to our new webhost? If so, how?
