When I get emails from companies that basically look like a webpage (best way I can describe it) on my phone and on Gmail, but it is just a bunch of text and links when viewed in Mail.app.

Is there something I can do to change this?

Yep

Mail Preferences, Viewing, Check show remote images in HTML messages.

Mail Preferences, Viewing, Check show remote images in HTML messages.

That was already checked. I unchecked it, quit Mail, opened Mail, rechecked it, quit Mail, opened Mail... and emails still are not showing up properly.

Sorry for previously bumping this thread. I wasn't aware of the forum rules.

I have discovered something new: if I go to view>message>next alternative the message will show up normally, like it does on gmail.com or on my phone. How do I get emails to automatically load like this? I'm a student and when school sends email blasts other students Mail.app shows the same email properly.
