emails on the ipad

hello all, i use o2 for my emails on my ipad, why does my ipad collect the same messages over and over again ?. when i delete the emails, the next day when i should collect new ones i also get all the old ones.

Is your o2 mail set to keep a copy of mail on the server? This could cause mail to re-download messages.

Do you have the email set up as POP or IMAP? If you do POP, then when you delete on the ipad it deletes on the iPad but stays on the server. Set it up as IMAP and when you delete from ipad it will delete from server.
