Embedded YouTube videos not working

On my rMBP I can't watch any embedded YouTube videos, they all just appear as blank space on the website.

When I go to YouTube I can watch videos fine.

Any suggestions on how to fix it? I've uninstalled and reinstalled flash 3 times...

I assume you are using Safari? If it were me, I'd install Chrome to see if the issue is specific to Safari and/or the Flash installation (Chrome has Flash already).

Have you uninstalled Flash in-between reinstalling (including emptying the trash and rebooting)?

Have you tried resetting Safari?

tried all of the above aside from downloading chrome. i'm in the minority that really prefers safari to chrome/firefox lol.

any other suggestions?
