Embedded Youtube won't play on JBed iPhone

So recently I've realized that embedded youtube videos no longer are playing on my iPhone. By which I mean that they do not launch the youtube app like they have in the past. Instead they come up with the little crossed out arrow in the box. I'm on a jailbroken 3GS running 3.1, I understand that restoring the firmware will most likely fix the issue, but I just wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience and come up with am easier solution. Thanks for any help!
