I need to embed an audio file in my blog without visual feedback while it's playing. However, I still need the user to be able to start and stop the audio clip. Any suggestions?

The problem is that the demo on this blog post isn't working. I think it's because people are getting the visual feedback of watching the player and that's why they're not showing evidence of the effect.

Any and all help would be appreciated!

Okay here's an update. I think I figured out a kludge that works. Can someone confirm for me that this works on Windows?

It appears to be working correctly.

Windows XP/Firefox 2: loads the following page, can start/stop audio manually, no visual feedback

Windows XP/IE 5: loads the following page, can start/stop audio manually, no visual feedback
