Emergency contact and DND

I have set my brother as a Emergency contact and now every time he calls me my phone lets him trough DND. When I checked Emergency bypass in contacts app toggle was off. I would assume that Emergency contact can bypass DND by default hence toggle is not visibly on for Emergency contact.

Is there a way to stop it?

In Focus settings there in no one allowed in Notifications section.

What about under Notification for the Focus: what is "allow calls from" set to?

There's no way to stop them. Whatever settings you play with, emergency contacts always break through a focus mode (such as DND). You need to remove them from emergency contacts - it's the only way.

It is set to a default, Favorites. My brother is in my Favorites. Maybe that is a problem. What a strange default setting to have...
