I've got an hour long movie to watch and no way I can see of downloading it. Unplug in Firefox doesn't seem to detect it.

Look for the .flv file in the activity window of safari. Copy the URL, and past it into the download window. You can play the file with VLC, or QuickTime if you have Perian installed.

Thank you for your quick reply. I'm wondering if there's an activity window equivalent in Firefox? That's where the "partially downloaded" hour long movie file is sitting. (The red bar is all the way across).

In safari you can hit command-option-a and bring up activity monitor, find the file there, it downloads as an FLV and you can convert it with isquint. There is also kiss (put that in front of the youtube part i think. And then follow the last two steps above mentioned.
