Emoji for the rest of us?

Not to be a whiner but i want Emoji too. I haven't updated yet but read no sign of it being enabled for non-jap people. It's a little thing yes, but why not release it for the rest of us?

emoji looks freakin' awesome. there is absolutely NO reason why apple would not implement it for every country/language.

Emoji only works if you're using the SoftBank-provided email account (which nobody does because it doesn't support push, doesn't give a ring/vibrate alert for new mail, and auto-deletes all emails after 30 days) ... Brilliant, huh? 🙄

Although I understand why technologically it might be difficult, I would love Emoji also. I live in Los Angeles and have many Japanese friends (huge Japanese community here). Common Apple extend the love.

So, you are saying that Apple didn't really give you guys native emoji? You have to have a particular type of e-mail account? Well, that blows....

Sorry, I just don't see this tactic raising iPhone sales in Japan. What's with these half-assed efforts. Give the country their emoji, no strings attached!

BTW, I want those lil' critters. I want dirty ones too....
