Emoji icon issue

On my iPhone 6 iOS8 i have the same emoji icon like iOS7 (the globe)
how can i fix this?

That's what the emoji icon is on the keyboard? What exactly were you expecting out of curiosity?

If you have 3 keyboards enabled I believe it will show the icon

Think they changed it back in recent update, cause you know, having a smile face was the most serious of Apples problems w/ ios8
