I swear to god I cannot be the only one getting all these problems. My phones hot, low power mode barely helps, battery drains so fast, and more recently whenever I use Emojis, the app that they are used in hangs for about 5 seconds then the message finally sends. Would a reset all settings help here? Will that act like a clear cache kinda thing. I got a feeling that the actual software is bugged on my phone. In that case, is it worth backing up my 9 b4, DFUing a clean 8.4, then direct updating to 9 b4 then restore from backup? I need help, because this is killing me and I need my data that I've got on iOS 9.

Can't hurt to try resetting all settings first if nothing else has helped so far. Certainly has helped quite a few people with various kinds of issues.

Gonna try it later... Last time I done one it done nothing. I hate resetting because there shouldn't be any need to do it. Why has it gotta be full of bugs... If a reset all settings doesn't work, what do you recommend? Should I try backing up and doing a clean install then do a restore?

You're using beta software. It is buggy. I recommend going back to iOS 8.

Your best bet would be to stop swearing to god and go back to 8.4 before u have some kind of episode. You sound very wound up.

I know its a beta. Thats one excuse I hate from people on here. "Its a beta." NAAAAHHHHH. Thanks, Sherlock. I knew it would be buggy, thats obvious. Its just why am I getting problems and most people are not. Some people are getting 3 days battery on their 6 I'm getting 3 hours. I done a hard reset and my Emoji problem has gone. My battery is still shocking and phone is still hot. Lets see if anyone can be useful and help me with questions I have about potentially fixing this.
Can I back up as I am now, DFU reinstall 8.4 totally clean, then shift update to 9 beta 4, then restore to the backup?
Will my problems come back?
Is it possible to shift update to 8.4 from 9 beta 4 (Probably no)?
Any way to trick iTunes into thinking an iOS 9 backup is for 8.4 so I don't lose any data if I was to roll back to 8.4?

Somebody answer my last few questions please. I'm sticking with beta 4 but the battery is still terrible and just wanna know these last few questions.

- Yes (you can also just reinstall iOS 9 beta without first going to 8.4 first).
- No one really knows.
- Yes (or at least you can put your phone into recovery mode and let iTunes download and install it for you).
- I don't believe so.

- I forgot to say I'm a non developer and I'm sure recovery mode triggers a check.
- Fair point
- The point of me shift updating would be to not lose any data, if I put it in recovery mode I would lose my stuff.
- Ah okay

Thanks for answering!

I think Apple is trying to punish you for not being a developer LOL Just kidding... hopefully everything works out.
