Anyone noticing that emojis get posted to Facebook as � lately?

Anyone know of a fix?

My guess is that Facebook have not included them yet on their end. The emoji images we see are represented by a code attributed to each image, so if this code is missing on Facebook’s end you will get this “?” character. It will be the same if you send a message from your iOS 12 device with the latest set of emojis supported to, say, another iOS device running iOS 8-9.

I understand why it normally displays it as question marks. However I’ve been using basic plain old smiles. it will get changed to the question mark later. Very odd. I would understand if I were posting newer emojis. But even so on my phone on which I posted them I should see the emoji, not a question mark.
 
I think that has nothing to do with Facebook as a website/app, but with Safari 😉 If you type the emoji that is not displayed correctly in Google (with Safari), it will also not display correctly.
The solution: just wait to there is the update, in which the new emojis are included.
