I'm trying to empty the trash of a .backupdb created from Time Machine. I had switched drives backup drives, and no longer need it on my internal Mac drive.

When emptying, I selected "delete protected" files, but the folder and few files remain, where I can't delete it.

Any solutions on how to fully empty the trash?

    Thanks!

be VERY VERY careful with "force empty trash."
OMG, I lost about 3 days of productivity because of a go*dam extra space I accidentally put in, had to reinstall, etc., AND, I lost some IRREPLACEABLE FILES.

So, again, if I didn't say it already
    BE VERY VERY VEWWWWWWY CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
