I updated to Lion a few months ago and just realised that when in finder the only way I can view my files is through the "All my files" section. If I go to 'Desktop' there's nothing there, its with everything; 'Documents', 'Home', 'Applications', 'Macintosh HD'. There is literally nothing in them. Also, If I search for a folder in the search bar and switch to column view to find the folder it was originall in, then click on that folder, the contents disappear (eg. the folder I was just viewing).
Is there anything I can do to try and fix this?
