Emptying from trash not working

Hi guys,

I have this folder in my trash which i am damn sure is not in use. Every time i try to empty trash it says item is in use.

how to resolve this issue?

try holding down the cmd key while emptying trash.

Nope, not the command key.

Hold down the alt/option key while clicking on "empty trash". Let us know if that works.

Not working. I am trying solution in this thread. Cos i also get this folder when i connect my external hdd.
