Emptying trash problem.

I was unable to empty the trash, so I used "Secure Empty Trash." It appeared to work, but the progress bar window is now stuck (see screenshot). Clicking the 'x' doesn't do anything. Nor does 'killall Dock".

Any ideas? 😕

Quit the progress and try it again? What's in the bin?

Ooops sorry. I've attach it now.

What's in the trash? Just general junk really... about 8 GB partly due to a large video file from HandBrake. Might be that.

What process does Trash come under?

A hunch tells me that if you quit the process, restart the computer and empty the trash again, it'll work.

Restart Finder to stop the trash emptying and start again. 🙂

Yeah that didn't anything. A reboot did however.
