For some reason I thought this would be nice to have an editable list of emulators FOR and OF PowerPC systems. Before we begin:
FOR = the software runs natively and provides emulation of another operating system from within a PowerPC based Mac OS or other PPC based system.
OF = the software emulates a PowerPC processor on some other processor type.
So with those two definitions done, let’s begin:

- Guest PC 1.9.7 (for Intel x86) (OS X only)
- Basilisk-II (for Motorola 680x0)
- Q (for Intel x86) (OS X only)
- KEGS-OSX (for WDC 65C816) (OS X only)
OF POWERPC:
- SheepShaver (for Win, Mac, Lin on x86/ARM/PPC)
- PearPC (for Windows x86)
- QEMU (for many platforms)
