I 100% agree with your conclusion. I was just pointing out that the UK doesn't necessarily have to follow the EU's lead. The consumer sales of goods warranty differences prove that.

I've just popped into my local  Store in the Uk and their demo models running iOS 9 have the News App and the Region is set to the Uk ?

Go figure

Can anyone running 9.1 tell me if the News app shows up if Region is set to Mexico please? Thanks!

Problem with changing Region is that if you also use  Pay then to use it a person would need to change the Region back to their own.
