On google chrome, each tab has a favicon just left of the page heading.
I was wanting to use safari, but i cant find how to enable these favicons.
I find them essential in my web browsing as you can just glance at the top and know immediately which tabs are facebook (because they have a blue favicon), which are macrumors (look for the apple), etc.
When using safari, i find myself squinting at the screen trying to work out which tab belongs to which web page.
I agree the default no favicon looks nicer, but i find it hard to use.
