I've searched the forum, and can't seem to find a solution to this ( or even if anyone is having the same problem ). My problem is, when I hit the . and the various method suggestions pop up, it displays the method definition, along with a message saying that "Javadoc not found".

I've google'd the error, and found a couple of suggestions but they seem to be for an earlier version of NetBeans ( I'm running 5.5 ). Most of them seem to suggest configuring the platform manager to point at a doc/api directory. I've checked under /System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions but there doesn't seem to be a doc/api directory anywhere.

Would appreciate any pointers.

What version of Java are you trying to use. Heres how my Java Platform is configured in NetBeans - the default...
