Enabling lock screen camera iOS5 3GS

Dear MacRumours

I just updated my 3GS iphone to the iOS5 beta, and its absolutely wonderful. Best OS yet!

I read online that the lock screen camerabutton would be available on 3GS, but its not on mine - and I cant seem to find any setting to enable it.

Does anyone know how to make it work?

Double-press the home button on the lock screen.

double pressing the home button whilst the phone is locked should bring up the camera button

I'd prefer not to prematurely wear out the home button (that's already susceptible to wearing out) with this monkey motion. Let's hope they add a setting to make it stick.
