Can anyone help me figure this out? At night I like to turn my iPhone 5s on 'Do not disturb', but there are a few apps which I would like to still get notifications from:

- House alarm - if it goes off during the night
- Alarm clock
- Emergency alert app - there was a tornado in our area and I got the alert in the day, if it were at night it wouldn't have gone through

Any ideas? Is it possible to do a similar thing if your phone is in silent mode? Thanks!

The built in alarm clock will work with do not disturb. The built in emergency alerts, while I'm not completely certain, I believe those will work as well. The house alarm, which would be from an app, that is not going to get through. You can perhaps set things up that you get a call if there is a house alarm, and set up that call to go through do not disturb. Other than that perhaps if you jailbreak there might be a tweak that would give you more control over do not disturb.

I can verify that the the built in emergency alerts will still go off in DND mode, as I was just woken up by a severe weather alert a little while ago.
