I've tried reading up on this topic and what I've come up with is that I have to enable a protocol (EHCP? I can't remember the acronym) in order for windows to recognize the extra 2 SATA ports on my MP board. I've got a blu-ray drive in my second superdrive slot and it connected to one of those hidden SATA ports and Windows just won't see it. All I've found are these almost archaic command prompt instructions which I don't understand for the life of me.

So my question is: Is there some automated program I can run that will enable the protocol? or is there some easy to understand (read= layman's terms) guide out there on how to do this?

    If it helps, I'm running Windows 7 x64 on a MP 1,1.
