    Hi

I am looking forward to the new full disk encryption on Lion and it looks like I will also be able to easily encrypt a Time Machine backup as well without jumping through technical hoops.

I am interested to know though, if the full disk encryption will have any impact on the Windows 7 environment that I run within Parallels. Has anyone with a dev copy of Lion put this to the test?

Also is there a noticeable performance hit when full disk encryption is on?

    Thank you

Can't confirm but you should be OK as your are authenticated and the subsystem has access. You should notice no difference in speed.
