End o2 UK Contract Early?

Hey, i just wanted any experiences with ending an o2 contract early (due to end next July) as i'm considering snatching a free Nexus One (yes a Google phone, don't hate the player, hate the game) from Vodafone for the same contract price and a better contract, has anyone ended their contract early before and can give me any advice such as ease of cancellation and cost? any help would be appreciated, regards, skate71290

You'll have to pay off the remainder of your contract if you want to leave O2.

Yep I cancelled my iPhone 2G contract a few years back, they just make you pay the remainder of the contract
